About Me

I am a multimedia journalist passionate about storytelling that highlights culture, underrepresented communities, and social justice. I recently graduated from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication. I aim to contribute to online publications and magazines that explore these themes through impactful reporting, writing and visual storytelling.
My professional experience includes a broadcast internship at Indian Country Today (Indij Public Media), where I focused on elevating Indigenous stories and developed video editing skills. I also held a multimedia internship at Lake Affect Media, where I published a profile in their magazine and managed social media. Most recently, I was a digital news writer for Cronkite News, covering both long-form and quick-turn stories, and an underrepresented communities reporter for The State Press, where I spotlighted diverse and empowering stories within Arizona State’s campus.
Beyond journalism, I write creatively, weaving personal experiences and cultural themes into my work. I plan to pursue a master’s degree in multimedia journalism or film production to continue refining my craft and creating impactful narratives.
