I covered the Arizona Two Spirit Powwow at South Mountain Community College, highlighting its role in uplifting Native LGBTQ+ communities amid potentially harmful anti-transgender policies. I interviewed Two Spirit dancers and advocacy group members, focusing on the intersection of culture, identity, and activism across tribal nations. All photos of event were taken by a colleague.
